Denise Smith strongly believes that people who come in contact with court clerks should be treated courteously and respectfully. Surveys will be conducted to identify concerns of the customer/client base and support the issues of concern by implementing quality service initiatives. All Clerk’s Office employees will attend mandatory customer service seminars and trainings. Roberts will personally monitor letters of commendation and complaint.
Denise Smith is strong advocate and supporter of the small and minority business community. She spent nine years in Prince George’s County’s supplier diversity office organizing programs to ensure business owners have increased access to procurement opportunities. She currently serves on the advisory boards for the Bi-County Business Roundtable and Women of Prince George’s and is actively involved with the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce and Build Prince George’s. Denise also hosts ‘Level Up,’ a business television show on CTV designed to show businesses how to effectively run their companies and increase their bottom lines.
The law mandates the Clerk’s Office to make, keep and preserve the records of the court and attend all sessions of the court. But Denise Roberts has also pledged to ensure that public resources are utilized efficiently and effectively, while expanding and strengthening the quality of programs and services.
